Gum Powder

Natural Tamarind Gum Powder is very hard and strong and is covered with black brown husk. It is obtained after roasting of Black/brown seed and removing its outer layer. It is white in color and its size varies in between 12mm to 16 mm. It is fruit of a large tropical tree grown in forests.

Tamarind seed husk constitutes to 35% of total seed weight and other 65% is white kernel used in manufacturing Tamarind kernel powder.

Tamarind Gum Powder is modified form of tamarind kernel powder. High viscosity is obtained while cooking of gum powder in cooking pan.

Application:

• It is widely used as a thickener in textile industries.
• It can be used in roller, flat bed or rotary screen printing with disperse dyes.

Our Textile Gum Powder is a complex mixture containing a Galactoxyloglucal polysaccharides, protein, lipids etc. It forms a uniform solutions on heating with water while stirring.

• Tamarind kernel powder is obtained from white Tamarind seed. Seeds are of export quality standard which are again thoroughly passed from Seed cleaning system so as to remove all foreign particles which are insoluble  making gum powder completely soluble in water. High quality grinding machines is used to make product of higher mesh size.

• Colour of Powder: Creamish white.
• Mesh size (Finness): 99 % passing 300 mesh.
• Moisture content : Between 5 to 7 %
• Ass content : Max 3 %
• Viscosity : Around 7000 cps (4 % paste in Spindle no.4, RPM – 20 AT Room temp 25 deg celcius in Brookfield viscometer DV-II+ PRO.)
• Packing : In LDP Laminated PP Woven Bags of 50 or 25 kgs each.

Applications:

Textile industries:

• It is used as a good stable thickner in textile industries. Preservatives are added so as to make Gum powder stable atleast 5 days. The Gum powder is made free from all foreign particle through seed cleaning process and gives good colour value and depth in cloth while printing.
• Various other industries where it is used are
• It is very effectively used for sizing and printing industries.
• It is also used in sizing in jute and cotton wraps.
• It has extensive use in paper & explosive industries, where it is used as filler as well as viscosity builder and binder.
• It is effectively used these days by oil drilling,soil stabilizer and in minning.

Cold Water Soluble Gum Powder is a modified Tamarind kernel Powder to form Carboxyl Methylated anionic character hydrophilic.
